April Bowlby was born in Vallejo, California, and went on to attend Moorpark College where she pursued degree work on French, Marine Biology, and Ballet. While still in high school She began modeling before deciding to shift her attention on acting. In 2005 she made her professional debut in a role as a guest in "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation". After that, she went on to film and television, where she appeared in productions like "CSI: NY"as well as "Stacked'"and "'Freddie'", 'Sands of Oblivion'", 'All Roads lead to home'", 'Out of Jimmy's Head'", 'Kath & Kim'", 'Psych'" as well as "From Prada until Nada'. In particular, she's famous for her role as a regular in "Two and a Half Men", "How I Met Your Mother", and for her role as Stacy Barrett, her co-starring role in "Drop Dead Diva".
