Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Tamil and Telugu films in addition to some Malayalam films. She won the National Film Award Best Actress Award for her role as actress Savitri. The film also won three SIIMA Awards were also given to her. Also, she received an Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the child of producer G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. She started her acting career in the mid 2000s. The year 2013 was the last time she played the leading role in Geethaanjali, a Malayalam-language film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy embarked on her very first Malayalam projects as well as began to work with Tamil in parallel. Even though the film was not a success in the theaters the film she made her debut in was A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) where she played with Vikramprabhu. In order to fit in bigger projects, she had to cancel films that she'd been working on for a while. They included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Kavalaivendam by Deekay. As a result, she worked on two films, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo with Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played the role of Thodari for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The movie's release was pushed back in the year 2015, and is now expected to be after September 2020. It'll have a different title Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja was made in the year 2016 and featured in the role of actor Ram Pothineni.
