Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name of Winona Laura Hoowitz who was birthed within Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her for the town she grew up in. The father of her Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder's father was born into a Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. Uria is Ryder's younger sister. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are Ryder's half-siblings. Ryder's parents moved her along with her siblings to Mendocino County California when Ryder turned seven. There, they didn't have electricity. Television books were Ryder's only distraction to spend the time and she began to read extensively. Ryder began taking acting classes when Ryder was twelve years old, in the American Conservatory Theatre. She landed her debut role on the large screen in 1986 aged 15 years old. old. Ryder endured bullying while in highschool. Her thought was that by becoming an actor, her bullying could be reduced. However, it didn't come pass. But she pushed on with her dream. Beetlejuice the 1988 Tim Burton film, was her first big break. Ryder was later cast in success in roles. She received nominations for two Academy Awards one for her performance as a character in The Age of Innocence (1993).
