Aaliyah Haughton became famous in 1994, when she dropped her debut album Age Ain't Nothing but an amount. It was Gold in the year she turned just 15 years old. It was done as a collaboration that was highly in the style of R. Kelly and it put the singer in the limelight. In the year 1996, Jermaine Durpri along with Timbaland worked together to create the second album of hers, One In A Million. The album included If Your Boyfriend Only Knew as the single number one. Aaliyah became a well-known R&B singer after the album's release. Aaliyah appeared alongside famous martial artist Jet-Li Romeo Must Die (2000) which was an action-packed romance film. She is a first-generation Indian-American from Connecticut. Mann is a contraction of her husband's final name Mankad. Aarti uses both Aarti Majumdar and Aarti Munn for her professional names. While her initial career was filled with minor movie and TV performances, she rose to greater notoriety in the late 2000s. Other notable works she has done comprise Leverage 2012, Suits 2013, and Grey's Anatomy 2017. The actress has been featured in commercials for big brands like international car manufacturer Volvo. Her home is with her family in Los Angeles with her husband as well as her daughter, and continues to pursue her acting career.
